Chapter 9: Saviors! (Y/N) and Erza Arrive!

A few days had passed since Natsu left for the S-Class request, and (Y/N) and Ren were on their way to the guild hall, ready to take on a job and make some money for rent. The moment the two entered (Y/N) barely dodged an attack from Erza.

(Y/N): "Yikes! What's the big deal Erza?!"

Erza: "Spill it! Did you know that Natsu, Lucy, and Happy took an S-Class request and left for it?!"

(Y/N): "How in the world would I even be able to know that?"

Erza (Demonic Aura): "Don't lie to me!"

(Y/N): "Y-yes ma'am! I had an idea that they might've gone but I thought it was just my imagination. Are they really not here?"

Makarov then smashed (Y/N) to the ground with an enlarged arm.

Makarov: "That's your punishment for not confirming your suspicions with me or Mirajane!"

(Y/N): "I-I'm sorry..."

Makarov: *Sigh* "I sent Gray to go bring them back, but he hasn't returned yet. Erza, you are to go to Galuna Island and bring those four back to Fairy Tail!"

Erza: "Yes Master!"

Erza then left to pack her things, leaving a flattened (Y/N) to collect his thoughts."

(Y/N): <This isn't good. Natsu and them could end up getting expelled from the guild for doing this! ...I'll have to find a way to avoid that conclusion.>

As (Y/N) finished that thought, Erza bust through the doors and started dragging (Y/N) by his hood, much to his protest.

(Y/N): "H-hey! what are you doing?!"

Erza: "You're coming with me to Galuna Island! This is as much your fault for not telling us as it is theirs for going. Or do you have something else to say?! You're coming with us too Ren!"

Ren: "A-aye..."

(Y/N) begins to struggle even harder against Erza's vice grip

(Y/N): "No! Nonononono! I'm not going! An Island means a boat, and I don't like vehicles! NOOO-urgh!"

Erza knocked (Y/N) out before he could complain even further.

Erza: "We'll be going now Master."

Makarov: "Y-yes, do go ahead..."

Erza then carried (Y/N) on to the train going to Hargeon Port, Ren trailing behind the two out of fear of Erza.

Timeskip

By the time (Y/N) came to, he was already on the boat going to Galuna Island with Erza and Ren. The moment he got up, he immediately felt sick

(Y/N): "Bleerrgh! We're already almost to Galuna Island aren't we?"

Erza: "Yes."

(Y/N) simply laid back down, and waited for the boat ride to end as he struggled to not vomit all over the boat.

Afterwards, Erza simply grabbed (Y/N) and threw him off the boat, and jumped off of the boat. Ren simply sprouted his wings and flew off the boat.

Erza: "First order of business, find one of the four people who left for the quest. Ren! Fly into the air and look for any signs!"

Ren: "Y-yes ma'am!"

Ren immediately flew high up into the air and noticed that there was a giant mouse flying towards one of the ends of the beach.

Ren: "Ummm, There's a giant mouse flying towards one of the beachsides! Does that count?"

Erza: "Good enough for me. (Y/N)! Get up and go investigate! I know you've recovered by now!"

Slowly, but steadily (Y/N) got back up.

(Y/N): "Alright already! Jeez, sometimes you can be so-"

Erza: "Shut up and GO!"

(Y/N): "UNDERSTOOD!"

(Y/N) used Lightning Body and turned into (M/C) lightning, dashing off to where the mouse was. Ren was carrying Erza over to the location as well at a somewhat fast pace. By the time (Y/N) reached the area, he saw that the giant mouse was about to squish Lucy.

(Y/N): "No! LIGHTNING DRAGON SPARK TALON!""

(Y/N) began to dash towards the giant mouse, kicking it out of the way with an electrified foot. The force was so great that the mouse fell to the ground next to a pink haired girl and got knocked out.

Lucy: "(Y/N)!"

(Y/N): "I'm not the only one that came here."

Erza suddenly emerged from behind (Y/N) and gave a scare so demonic that it gave (Y/N) chills.

Erza: "Lucy, I presume that you know why I am here? You do know right?"

Lucy: "To take us back? Please don't hurt me?"

Lucy's last words echoed into nothingness, until Happy decided to fly by and make himself known.

Happy: "Lucy! I finally found you! *notices Erza* WAAAAAAAH!"

Happy began flying away, but to no avail as Erza had caught him by his tail in a heartbeat.

Erza: "Now, where is Natsu and Gray?"

Lucy: "Look, I know we came here without permission, but there are some horrible things going on in the island!"

Lucy the began to explain the whole ordeal about the situation of the villagers on the Island. They islanders were cursed by a purple moon. Erza didn't seem to care but (Y/N) did, and was too afraid to voice it.

Timeskip
Erza, Ren, and (Y/N) were waiting in a large tent for Gray to come in. (Y/N) finally decided to point out that fact that Lucy and Happy were tied up.

(Y/N): "Uhhh, is it really necessary to tie them up like that?"

Erza: "Yes, now stop asking questions!"

(Y/N) obeyed immediately and stopped asking questions. Gray then walked in and saw the five of you in the tent.

Erza: "You made me wait... not smart."

Gray: "Erza! (Y/N)! Why are those two tied up."

(Y/N): "Not important. Where's Natsu?"

Erza: "Lucy has already got us up to speed with everything."

Gray: "I dunno, I thought he was here with everyone."

Lucy: "Last time I saw him, he was fighting some of the Cold Emperor's lackeys. When we all went there he was nowhere to be found. Then Erza told us to take her to you and Happy flew up and found the village."

Erza: "We're finding Natsu and then we are going home."

Gray: "You don't care about what happens to the island?!"

Erza: "I came here with (Y/N) for the sole reason of taking the four of you back to Fairy Tail so that Master could punish. This quest is posted on the boards of all of the guilds here. One of them is bound to take it up."

Gray: "Have you seen what has happened to the people on this island?"

Erza: "Yes, I have."

Gray: "And you're not gonna do anything about it?"

Erza: "No."

Gray: "And what about you (Y/N)? I know you feel bad for these people, why aren't you doing anything?!"

(Y/N): "You don't think that I've noticed too? I've seen how these people are living, I can feel their suffering. But I can't think of a way to remove this curse! That is why I am going along with Erza!"

Gray: "How can you be so heartless Erza?!"

(Y/N): "Oh boy."

Erza: "What was that?!"

Erza then took out a sword using Requip and pointed it at Gray.

Erza: "Don't tell me that you chose to defy the rules of the guild as well! You'll face the same punishment."

(Y/N): "Erza stop! Pointing a sword at him is taking it too far!"

Without warning, Gray suddenly grabbed the sword with his bare hands and held the point near his chest.

Gray: "Do what you must. For me, there isn't any other choice to be made, and I'm most definitely not walking away from what I believe is right."

He then let go of the sword and started to leave the tent, but not before stopping at the exit and uttering these words

Gray: "I'm going to see this through to the end, and not even you will stop me Erza."

Gray then left without another word. Erza then turned to face Happy and Lucy, sword in hand.

Lucy: "W-wait! Don't take it out on us!"

Happy: "Please don't be mad at Gray! He's just in a bad mood cause he lost a fight against a childhood friend!"

The sound of Erza's sword slicing through the air covered the tent. The ropes constraining Lucy and Happy were cut free.

(Y/N): "Erza? Does this mean...?"

Erza: "Yes, we're helping these people before we go home. We have to take these four home, but it is more important to deal with the task at hand first."

(Y/N) smiled gently, and the five of them ran after Gray to catch up.

Timeskip

(Y/N) and everyone in the tent caught up to Gray, and they were all currently running towards the temple. On the way, Gray explained what his childhood friend, Lyon Vastia was planning on Galuna Island.

(Y/N): "Wait, so he wants to unleash a demon that your master couldn't defeat?"

Gray: "Yeah..."

Gray stopped and place his hand on a tree.

Gray: "He felt that the responsibility of defeating the demon fell on to his hands because it was something that our master couldn't do. But there is something that I never got to tell him, something that I've kept a secret for the past years. Even though she isn't with us, Master Ur is still alive."
